Achieving carbon peak in 2030 and carbon Offset in 2060 is an important commitment made by the Chinese government to the international community, and coping with climate change has become an important issue that countries around the world need to face together. China, as the country with the highest carbon emissions in the world, still has a long way to go towards carbon Offset. At present, various industries and related fields are accelerating the development and use of new low-carbon technologies to help achieve China's goal of "carbon Offset".

In order to better promote the development of carbon Offset related technologies, with the joint support of relevant industry authorities, the first Shanghai International Carbon Offset Technology Expo 2022 (referred to as CO expo china 2022) was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from Oct 19 to 21, 2022, with the theme of "carbon Offset" technology, focusing on carbon capture, utilization and storage, energy saving and low carbon technologies.

The exhibition integrates technology and equipment display, achievement promotion, high-level forum, project investment, cooperation and exchange, and provides an authoritative technology and exchange platform for the global carbon neutral industry. At the same time, more than 20 international exchange activities such as "2022 China Carbon Neutral Technology Conference" were held to deeply discuss the trends of carbon neutral related policies and technology applications.

The 2022 China Carbon Expo will be held concurrently with the China Environmental Expo, the largest environmental protection exhibition in Asia. It is estimated that the total exhibition area will reach more than 200,000 square meters, with more than 2,300 enterprises from 35 countries and regions participating. Enterprises and department personnel from key fields such as power and energy, steel, chemical industry, building materials, nonferrous metals, transportation, government departments and scientific research will be specially invited to participate.
